I have often wondered the rationale behind locating the studio in Collinsville, IL
Anonymous--
Near the staff's homes & families.
Near the staff's congregations,
Near St. Louis--access to guests,
Inexpensive quarters, perhaps?
Finally--why not?

I'm pretty sure I remember Todd saying that that particular space was a great deal for them.
On the first episode of Issues Etc. the new life, x2, June of 2008, they said the office space was referred to them by Congressman and frequent guest John Shimkus.
