Quoting Professor John Pless, from his paper "The Ordination of Women and Ecclesial Endorsement of Homosexuality: Are They Related?," presented at the Lutheran Theological Conference of South Africa in August of this year: "When truth is sacrificed for unity, unity will finally demand the exclusion of those who insist on truth."
